Show Notes

College campuses across the United States are filled with a vast array of clubs and organizations that can serve a range of purposes from filling students downtime with amusement to encouraging scenarios that sculpt leaders of the future.

College political party clubs provide an outlet for young politicos to engage with each other, the student body, the general public, media and elected officials, and they provide an interesting portal to understand where political ideologies and priorities might pivot in the coming years.

I recently addressed a group of College Democrats at my alma mater, The University of Rhode Island and was pleasantly surprised by many students in-depth understanding of local issues, and the variety of perspectives that different students possessed within the confines of identifying as Democrats.

On today’s episode of Bartholomewtown, I sit down with the College Democrat Presidents of three Rhode Island university’s for an intriguing and fun discussion on where the Democratic Party is and where it is heading.

Joining me at the loft are Brown University’s Rose Lang-Maso,  Bryant University’s Quinton Law and The University of Rhode Island’s Andy Boardman.
