Ana María Peredo is a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair and Full Professor of Social and Inclusive Entrepreneurship at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. Ana María currently focuses on three inter-connected areas: (1) Alternative Organizations and Solidarity Economies: community-based entrepreneurship, co-operatives, community-based economies/ co-operative economies, common-property social enterprises, social justice, local currencies, small businesses networks; (2) Indigenous Economies and Decolonization: Indigenous Entrepreneurship, Indigenous social Innovation, critical entrepreneurship, impacts of development/business projects, Indigenous movements and ontologies; (3) Alternative Futures: Social movements, De-Growth-Post-Growth Movements. She welcomes opportunities to work with accomplished graduate students who have a specific focus in these areas.
